Mark Carroll has been performing in West End musicals for ten years including the original casts of Miss Saigon, Oliver! Jesus Christ Superstar, Dr Dollittle and Joseph and his Amazing Dreamcoat.

He has four full shows under his belt: The Wood, The Attic, Guy Fawkes 1604 and Theatre of Blood. There is a song from each show on the site to give across section of the scope of his styles – classical through to pop.

Guy Fawkes was show cased at the Theatre Museum in Covent Garden with a cast from Oliver!, Miss Saigon, Cats and Sunset Boulevard

The Wood was recorded with a 30-piece orchestra and a West End cast.

New Works

The Attic is about to be workshopped and Theatre of Blood has just been completed.

Trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and has since worked in all aspects of theatre film, TV and video. He has written four musicals produced two albums for Michael Strassen (containing 2 compostions ) and the new album for Ruthie Henshall ‘Pilgrim’. Pilgrim contains two original songs.

One Simple Man has a collection of eleven original songs sung, composed, arranged and produced by Mark Carroll. The album is available at the record store ‘Dress Circle’, London WC2.

To hear a song written for a potential Coca-Cola commercial. Four new songs for women have just been added.

Mark also won the John Lennon Award for outstanding new song writer issued by the Performing Rights Society and would have been a finalist in the Buxton Opera House quest for a musical but had to withdraw due to copyright issues.

LATEST: Mark has just finished filming ‘Phantom of the Opera’ at Pinewood, he rercorded 16 children’s songs for BBC RADIO 7 programme “PG Woodlouse” and finally completed his debut album ‘One Simple Man’.
